Founded by a group of international executives in the energy and resources sectors, Weil Group Resources, LLC, serves as holding company for the Group’s international projects in oil and gas field development and production in South America.  Weil has affiliate companies in Philippines nickel ore mining and Electric Arc Furnace (EAF) ferronickel smelting production as well as coal mining operations in Colombia.  It is also engaged in waste-to-energy, bio-fuels and water treatment projects in Central and South America.

Weil’s team of geologists, petroleum engineers, petro-physicists and reservoir analysts lead its principle activity of exploration, development and production in mature oil and gas fields.  The Group utilizes leading analytic technologies to better understand field reservoir dynamics -- resulting in increased recovery factors in field and well re-entry for Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) efforts. Weil serves as exclusive representative for Gas Gun Technologies™ in Colombia, in order to apply this unique and cost-effective perforating and fracturing technology in its own operating fields -- and others within the country.

The Group has established strategic alliances with operating and production partners; health, safety and environment specialists and project management and logistics companies to assure successful project delivery.  Weil’s interdisciplinary approach in project implementation and operation takes account of unique community needs in which it operates – working with all stakeholders for the public good to assure health, safety and environmental standards and protection. Its affiliated companies have constructed new classrooms, provided medicines and medical counseling to abate tuberculosis, and constructed water pipelines for delivery of clean, safe water to the people in the communities in which it operates.

Weil’s affiliate companies include Platinum Group Metals Corporation (PGMC), a Philippine nickel mining and smelting concern which supplies ore and ferronickel to its principle customer BHP Billiton. 

The Group is establishing alternative energy, bio-fuels and water treatment projects.  Weil serves as licensee for Genesis Rapid Dewatering Systems ™ -- a solid separation system utilizing patented polymer technologies for efficient dredging and waterway restoration.  The Group also represents “Waste-to-Energy” technology – a power generation system deriving BTU’s from municipal waste landfill treatment and combustion.
